The CARS PVP map is not decoration. It is the cheat-sheet for the deathmatch layout: teleporter names, road lines, sky routes, hidden platforms, and the invisible sniping areas above the normal fight.

Use it to find the teleporter that puts you where you actually want to be: a roof, a lane, a camp angle, a quick return route, a high road, or the secret Cloud positions above the arena.
If you only spawn and run forward, you are playing the simple version. The map is for learning where people are coming from, where they are camping, and which teleporters turn a bad fight into a cheap laugh.
